Permanent Installation | Corporate Commission
Commissioned for CBRE Japan’s Tokyo Headquarters, this permanent installation explores the idea of forward momentum- how strength, discipline, and adaptability shape progress over time.
The series depicts a sequence of horses in motion, rendered through intricate gold linework on a black surface. Each panel captures a different state of movement, together forming a continuous visual rhythm that unfolds across the space. Rather than portraying speed alone, the work focuses on controlled energy - the tension between power and restraint that defines long-term success.
Gold lines are used not as decoration, but as a structural language. They trace invisible forces: flow, connection, and resilience. Against the black ground, the lines emerge gradually, inviting viewers to slow down and observe how complexity is built through accumulation - stroke by stroke, decision by decision.
Installed within CBRE Tokyo HQ, the work reflects the values of a global organization operating in constant motion while remaining grounded in clarity and precision. It is designed not as a focal spectacle, but as a living presence - one that reveals new details over time and mirrors the evolving rhythm of the people who move through the space each day.

CBREジャパンの東京本社のために制作された本常設作品は、前進し続ける力をテーマに、強さ、規律、そして変化への適応力が、時間をかけてどのように進歩を形づくるのかを探求しています。
本シリーズでは、躍動する馬の連なりを、黒地の上に繊細な金の線描で表現しています。各パネルはそれぞれ異なる動きの瞬間を捉えながら、全体として空間の中に連続する視覚的なリズムを生み出しています。単なる速さを描くのではなく、この作品が焦点を当てているのは、抑制されたエネルギー、すなわち、長期的な成功を支える「力」と「制御」の緊張関係です。
金の線は装飾としてではなく、構造的な言語として用いられています。それは、流れ、つながり、そしてレジリエンスという、目には見えない力をなぞるものです。黒い背景の上で、線は徐々に浮かび上がり、鑑賞者に立ち止まって見つめることを促します。複雑さとは、一筆一筆、ひとつひとつの選択の積み重ねによって築かれていくものであることを示しています。
CBRE東京本社に設置されたこの作品は、絶えず変化し続ける環境の中で、明晰さと精度を保ちながら活動するグローバル企業の価値観を映し出しています。それは単なる視覚的な見せ場としてではなく、空間の中で息づく存在として設計されています。日々この場所を行き交う人々のリズムと呼応しながら、時間とともに新たな表情や細部を見せていく作品です。
もう少し自然で洗練された「作品ステートメント風」の日本語にも整えられます。
